Doing yet more random websurfing I stumbled upon TED
TED stands for 'Technology Entertainment Design" and in simplest terms, once a year a bunch of experts go to a conference and give talks on things. This site has videos of a lot of these talks.
Ok, I'm making this sound incredibly lame, but go check it out. The talks are all roughly twenty minutes long, but are extremely interesting and incredibly entertaining.
The talks range from evolution to how our brains work to performances by pianists and poets.
